You should be LEARNING.
Learning what is working with your life. Learning what your body likes. Learning how your body feels its best. learning different foods that you like.
Being healthy is a skill, but sadly people are lead you to believe it is just about trying harder.
Here are my 4 areas to look at to help you to learn and get better at eating healthy:
When you see this picture? What do you think about the person? What do you think about this person’s work ethic, intelligence, discipline, value to society and health?
There was recently a picture of someone with extra body fat posted in an advertisement and there was an uproar (link: https://www.yahoo.com/gma/gillette-posted-photo-plus-size-model-twitter-couldnt-014741290.html). I know with social media everything gets a big uproar, but we need to stop and think about how we view this person.
Sabbath is a day set apart from everyday. Getting you out of the endless cycle of wanting more, endless things to do and always being in a hurry. Sabbath is about taking time to reflect on our yourselves, reflecting on God’s amazing love and power. Being thankful that we are here for eternity and do not need to rush because our Father will take care of it. Sabbath should help promote a more balanced lifestyle taking time to decompress.
With so many different diets, intermittent fasting, keto, paleo, low fat, blood type, gluten-free, vegan, whole30 the bible diet, a Daniel fast, juice fast and the list goes on. You are left confused, and stressed you want to be healthy, but have no idea what to do. With so much information it is easy to get overwhelmed with everyone's opinion and the newest trend in health, but realistically study after study has shown that diets do not
You just binged, or you just ate something unhealthy. You are feeling upset and frustrated. You feel like you are stuck in a cycle that you cannot escape. First of all, I want you to know that you are by no means alone. Second, there is abundant grace for you. Please do not beat yourself over this. Stop the judging it is not sustainable to never let yourself have something with zero nutritional benefit. You want to be healthy, and you do not need to have a 100% perfect diet to be healthy. We just need to have some way to grow from our food choices and experiences to bounce back to be stronger mentally and get back into our healthy eating habits. Here are some tips to help you break the cycle and become unstoppable!
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
