“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
~ Matthew 6:25-34
There is nothing He cannot do, and there is nothing He will not do. We may only see one dimension, but God sees holistically. There is nothing to be scared of because He will provide your needs. Follow after Him. He has EVERYTHING! Let's look at a couple examples (There are too many scriptures , and  for too many areas of life to list):
  • Food:
    • Joel 2:23 "Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.";
    • Psalm 65:9    "You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it. "
    • Genesis 2:9 "The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food."
    • Psalm 22:26 "The poor will eat and be satisfied;  those who seek the Lord will praise him--  may your hearts live forever!"
  • Rest:
    • Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
    • Psalm 127:2 "In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat-- for he grants sleep to those he loves."
    •  Exodus 33: 14 "The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
    • Proverbs 10:22 "The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it."
  • Money:
    • Proverbs 3:9-10 "Honor the Lord with your wealth,  with the first-fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
    • Malachi 3:10 "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."
    • Deuteronomy 8:17-18 " You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today."
    • Matthew 6:19-21 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
  • Health:
    • Jeremiah 33:6 “I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security”
    • Proverbs 3:7-8 "Do not be wise in your own eyes;  fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
    • Matthew 4:23 “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.”

    •
Acts 5:15
“As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.”

  • Peace:
    • Philippians 4:4-7 "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
    • Psalm 4:8 "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord,  make me dwell in safety."
    • Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast,  because they trust in you.
    • Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."
  • Having Children:
    • Psalm 127:3  "Children are a heritage from the Lord  offspring a reward from him."
    • Deuteronomy 7:12-15 "If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the Lord your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your ancestors. He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land—your grain, new wine and olive oil—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. You will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor will any of your livestock be without young. The Lord will keep you free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt, but he will inflict them on all who hate you."
    • Isaiah 54:1 “Sing, barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband,”says the Lord.
    • Psalm 113:9 "He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the Lord."
    • Genesis 25:21 "Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant."
  • Your Children's Lives:
    • Hebrews 12:1-2 " Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
    • Isaiah 54:13 "All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace."
    • Romans 8:28-30 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
    • Proverbs 22:6 "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."
Really meditate on this scripture, "He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? " (Romans 8:32) He did not give you the greatest gift ever, eternal life to leave you high and dry. This gift was very costly, but God does not  skimp or cut corners on the wrapping paper and bows. He is an all out, generous God. There are no boundaries for you. Nothing good He will withhold from you. No sacrifice He won't make  for you. "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." (James 1:17) He gives perfect, amazing gifts. He gave us this amazing gift of life! We put our hope scripture because "Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him." (Proverbs 30:5). He declares, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10) He came for us to have a life full of abundance and goodness. No matter what you may see or feel, His Word is greater than our vision and our perception. He is a gracious God giving us abundant life. He is your Provider!

Rest in His Provision for an Abundant Life!
