Weeping and Sowing

11/16/2018

Psalm 126:6 “He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed,
Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.”

You may be weeping and going through a difficult time right now, but God is using you right now. You are still playing a part in the advancement in the Kingdom. You need to realize that you are not useless. You are enough, even though you may feel like you have nothing and are not doing anything, but God sees you as useful. He sees that you can play a role in this season. You have a bag of seeds to sow.
God is still giving you assignments and it will not change your feelings, but you can rest easy that you are still advancing the kingdom. You may feel like you have nothing to give, but there is something. Whether it is a bible verse to share with a friend, doing a bible study on a topic, memorizing a verse, or having someone over for a meal. Your time right now will produce fruit.

You will be able to be full of joy once again . You will be able to look at this time and see the positive. You will have joy come from this time. You do not need to hide your feelings or mask them in anyway. You still need to process your feelings and see if there is anything untrue you are believing, but I do want to encourage you to keep going.

My prayer is that we can realize that this tough season is still productive. This season is handwork and the Lord is with you. The Lord lead you to this season and has something to say to you (“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, Bring her into the wilderness And speak kindly to her. (Hosea 2:14)). His plan involves this season. I do not know how long it will last, but “let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.” (Galatians 6:9) I pray for His strength to carry you though this season. That His presence be felt by you, as I know He never left you and never will, but He can feel distant. It can appear to all be dark, when in fact He is right there. He is lighting the way. Your seed that you are sowing will not go to waste. I pray that every step along the way you, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.”(Proverbs 3:5-6)
